Online platform TrainedIn aims to help businesses through Covid-19

-

SORCHA Finucane is the founder of a new Irish online platform called TrainedIn, which is aiming to promote Irish businesses on an equal footing in these difficult times.

The free-to-use online platform has started by assisting training and consultancy providers to showcase their business and services, while also connecting individuals and organisations across the spectrum for both professional and everyday use.

The TrainedIn platform has been designed to help increase sales in a more efficient manner and to connect businesses with new clients and individuals who are looking for training and consultancy services.

According to Ms Finucane, the site was created in response to the Covid-19 crisis.

‘Our goal is to put small, medium and large businesses on a level playing field and provide them access to a larger clientele, a service we feel is definitely needed to help Irish companies weather the effects of Covid-19 in these challenging times.

‘ The virus has wreaked havoc all over the world, but TrainedIn is here to support and boost businesses that have been impaired,’ she said.

Launched in April, the platform began hosting business service providers who were struggling to connect immediately with clients and potential customers.

Courses and webinars were also set up, with TrainedIn acting as the mechanism to make these connections.

Via the platform, people can search for and locate experts in their chosen field. The aim is to connect individuals to business and businesses to individuals or organisations.
