RETURN TO CHURCH
Recently the Government announced that places of worship may reopen on the 29th June. That means that finally we will be able to resume public Mass in both churches of the parish.
Our first weekend services will be on Saturday, 4th July at 6pm and Sunday 5th July at 10.30am in Craanford and Saturday (7.30pm) and Sunday (9.30am) in Monaseed. Fr Felix and I invite you to consider returning to worship with us whenever you can.
Here are some points to consider for Craanford: Holy Water will not be used. Hand sanitizers will be available in the church porch. Please use on entry and exit. Please follow the guidelines for movement on the church floor.
On entry use the left aisle and follow the arrows to your seat. Only every second seat will be available for use. All movements will be anti-clockwise. To optimise the number of usable seats families are asked to sit together.
Contributions to the parish and the priest are invited in the appropriate boxes inside the church door. No collections will be taken up during Mass. Your support is appreciated. For health and safety reasons at this time Altar Servers, Readers and Eucharistic Ministers will not be necessary. Communion is to be received on the hand.
The maximum number of people we can accommodate within the building at any liturgy is 60. The outside speaker will be utilised to facilitate those who may be outside. When outside please observe the 2 meter social distancing guideline. Seats will be sanitized after each liturgy. Toilet facilities will be available. You are asked to observe the hygiene routine.

The Parish office is now open again between 9:30am and 12:30pm. You can call on 087363 3965 to book online anniversary masses. You can get Mass cards. There are also a number of Confirmation photos here in the office: 3 Craanford pupils and 4 Monaseed Pupils
CHURCH NEWS
The Rossminogue Patron was due to take place on Wednesday, 24th June. For this year I will pray for all those interred there at the 10am online Mass on that day and afterwards I will visit the cemetery to bless the graves. You are encouraged to visit at your convenience and pray for the dead.

Daily mass is being broadcast live from the parish Facebook page @10am every morning. Apart from parishioners logging on, we have had visitors from other parts of the county and country and abroad tuning in live. You are all very welcome among us always but never more so than during these difficult and trying times.
Visits to Sick and Housebound: Out of concern for the wellbeing of our Sick and Housebound I will not make my April visits to them with Holy Communion. However, I am always available on request. In the event that pastoral support is needed in Monaseed please also contact me (087-6923280) as Fr Felix is cocooning and should not be involved in pastoral work at this time. I will keep the situation under review and normal activity will hopefully resume as soon as possible. In the meantime, stay safe. Fr Richard.

Due to the coronavirus we will be having no AGM of Craanford Monaseed Playschool this year but if you would like to enrol your child for their ECCE place etc. in the playschool you can phone Liz on 087 2317020 and she will post you out an enrolment form. Stay safe everyone,
