Impresso Cafe will stick with take-out service for time being

-

IMPRESSO CAFE, on Slaney Street, Enniscorthy, has welcomed the reopening phase of businesses as part of the Government’s roadmap for the country.

Due to its size, a number of measures will be implemented that means, for now, the cafe will be run slightly differently than was the case prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Owner Joy Doyle said the take-out side of the business will remain ongoing - as it has been for the last few weeks.

‘We will have our decking area open outside and that will be cleaned and sanitised,’ she said.

‘We will be allowing a maximum of four people in to queue for the takeaway service,’ she added.

One of the most popular cafés in the town the current regulations and restrictions mean that for now people won’t be able to go into the cafe for a meal.

‘Not at the moment,’ said Joy. ‘We cannot have people in sitting down for meals.’

She said that if there is a big drop off in demand once other businesses reopen it’s something they might look at.

‘We reopened seven weeks ago for takeaway services so we will continue to do that as well as the decking area,’ she said.

Customers can also use the cafe’s online ordering service, through www.impresso.ie, which enables customers to order and pay for meals online and then call to the cafe to collect them.
