Communion mass

Scoil Eoin Baiste, in Galbally, extended gratitude to Fr Billy recently for celebrating mass on Facebook for the Holy Communion class.

A spokesperson for the school said it was a lovely mass enjoyed by the children, parents, staff and the wider school community.

Holy Communion ceremonies were postponed this year due to restrictions imposed regarding large gatherings as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown.

However, everyone in the school is now looking forward to when the children get to celebrate the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on a future date.
