SIXTH CLASS GRADUATION

- By BRENDAN KEANE

THERE are many advantages to attending a school with a relatively small pupil population including the fact the pupils receive a brilliant standard of education that is enhanced by a strong sense of community within the school.

The graduation class in Galbally National School were presented recently with certificates to mark their transition from primary school to secondary school and the students were delighted to be acknowledged.

Because of the number of pupils involved a small ceremony was held with all social distancing guidelines strictly adhered to.

Parents and pupils were delighted to have the end of term marked and for the school it was an opportunity to wish the pupils well as they look forward first to their summer holidays, and secondly, to entering secondary school in September.

The school ensured the safety of the students throughout the ceremony and the pupils were very happy to receive their certificates as they prepare to relax throughout the summer holidays before getting ready to enter the next phase of their education.
