SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy is extended to the wife, sons, daughter, relations and friends of Johnny Martin, Wilton, who died on Monday of last week. A private Funeral Mass was held in Bree on Wednesday. Sincere sympathy also to the sons, daughters, relations and friends of Mary Shannon, Galbally, who died on Thursday last. A private Funeral Mass was held in Galbally on Saturday.

REELING IN THE YEARS BBG

Reeling in the years for the parish has been set up on Facebook in order to share pictures from all groups and organisati­ons from times past. The host would be delighted to feature other pictures that individual­s or groups may have.

GALBALLY TRACTOR RUN

The Galbally Tractor Run has been reschedule­d for Sunday, October 25, Further details closer to the event.

BALLYHOGUE GAA LOTTO

The numbers drawn in the recent GAA lotto draw were 1, 14, 22 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. Match-three winner were Anne Breen, Gary Doyle, Tom Whelan and Ruth Finn. The next draw takes place on July with the jackpot up to €3,800.

BOOK SWAP

A book swap service will be available in Bree Community Centre in the near future. If you have books that you think others might enjoy please keep them till the community centre is open for activities.
