GAA CLUB NOTES

Looking for matches to watch? Here are a few men’s hurling challenge games. Football matches were last Friday and in another while again. Tuesday 7th: First team are in Ballygarrett at 8.15 p.m. Friday 10th: First team are in the Rock at 7.30 p.m. v St Martin’s.

The weekend of the 26th has camogie and both men’s teams in the championship. Underage fixtures due out shortly.

There was no jackpot winner in the recent club lotto draw. There was one €200 match-three winner. The numbers were 1, 2, 11 and 23. Next draw for €4,600 takes place on the 13th.

PATRON

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions the annual Patrons in Ballyfad Cemetery (July 19) has been cancelled however graves will be blessed over the weekend and all Masses at the weekend July 18 and 19 will be offered for the Holy Souls.

CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Mass has resumed in both churches in Kilanerin and Ballyfad Mass in Kilanerin Tuesday and Friday 9.30 a.m. Saturday 6.30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. Eucharistic adoration on Tuesday from after morning Mass to 9 p.m. Ballyfad Mass is Wednesday and Thursday 9.30 a.m. Saturday 7.30 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.

Eucharistic adoration on Wednesday from after morning Mass to 1 p.m. Please follow the guidelines as outlined in the church.

The parish office has re opened. Please help us and your neighbour by cooperating with these new practices.
