Craanford Masses – We are in a time of transition in relation to the celebration of Masses. I have appreciated the large online congregation that has built up over the last few months and do not wish to disrupt it till the situations is more settled. Therefore, for continuity, from June 29 I will celebrate weekday Mass in the Oratory of the church at 10 a.m. Monday to Friday. The Saturday Vigil Mass at 6 p.m. and Sunday Mass at 10.30 a.m. will be celebrated in the main church. Both weekday and Sunday Masses will be broadcast live on the Parish Facebook page. I will continue with this up to August 7. Fr Brian Whelan will begin celebrating Mass here on Saturday, August 8. I hope this helps our transition to the new normal.

Confirmation and Communion – Happily we had completed Confirmations for both parish schools just before Lockdown. In Craanford First Confessions were also completed and First Holy Communion has been re-scheduled to September 26.
Eucharistic Adoration – This is suspended. However, both churches of the parish remain open for daily prayer.
Parish office – This is now open again between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. You can call at 087 3633965 to book online anniversary Masses. You can get Mass cards. There are also a number of Confirmation photos here in the office: two Craanford pupils and three Monaseed Pupils.
Mass online – Daily Mass is being broadcast live from the parish Facebook page at 10 a.m. every morning. Apart from parishioners logging on, we have had visitors from other parts of the county and country and abroad tuning in live. You are all very welcome among us always but never more so than during these difficult and trying times.
LEGO SUMMER CAMP

GAA CLUB NEWS
Training resumed on Monday last, welcome back to all players, and mentors. It’s a delight to see the pitches brimming with joy and enthusiasm once again.
Our men travelled to Glenealy for a challenge hurling match on Tuesday evening and a strong panel of players came away with a good win, final score line CF 1-28 GY 2-17. An away fixture against Askamore is the next match to look forward to at the weekend. The draw for the hurling championship sees Craanford against Oulart and Shamrocks while the intermediate ladies have been drawn in group two with Blackwater and Duffry Rovers.
Club lotto is back up and running – jackpot is €2,900 winning numbers from draw on July 1 are 2, 3, 5, 13 lucky-dip winners are Joanne O’Loughlin, Brendan Doyle, Noel Kavanagh, Len Hall and a winner with a mobile number. Seller’s prize James Byrne. Next week’s jackpot €3,000.
