DANCE CAMP
We are delighted to let you know that Saoirse’s Dance and Fitness Academy will be holding a summer Dance Camp from July 27 to July 29 in Barntown Community Centre.
There will be two groups – younger children from 10 a.m. to midday and the older children (including teens) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Price is €40. Weather permitting some of the camp may take place outdoors. Saoirse is Garda Vetted and a fully qualified Dance Teacher graduating from Inchicore College of dance in early 2019.
All the Covid guidelines will be strictly adhered to and information regarding these procedures will be provided to those attending. BARNTOWN COMMUNITY CENTRE
The new playground at Barntown Community Centre has now reopened. We ask parents to please follow a few simple rules when children are using the playground.
Children must always be supervised by an adult. Please bring hand sanitiser for use before, during and after use of equipment. If you can’t sanitise, please do not enter playground.
Supervising adults to ensure the two metre distancing rules. Please ask children to avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth. Ensure the safe use of the equipment and the safety of all others. Adhere to the most up to date health advice.
BALLINESKER SWIM WEEK
Children’s Swimming Lessons in the Sea on Ballinesker Beach from July 13 to July 17. Start time 10 a.m.

Road closure in Ballyhine Lane area to facilitate the laying of a pumped foul sewer – July 6 to July 31

Alternative route from C & D Providers to Ballygoman to Shelmaliere Commons via the L-7040, N25 and the L-3018.
Alternative routes to be sign-posted. Local access will be facilitated from both directions up to the works location.
GAA CLUB NOTES
Preparations have begun for the gradual re-opening of our club grounds. The walking track is open for a limited time per day with the hour from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. dedicated to cocooners. Please adhere to our one way system on the track by following the signs. Please observe the usual HSE guidelines. Thanks to Martin Brazzill of Vending Solutions for co-sponsoring our hand sanitisers.

TRACTOR RUN
Unfortunately our treasured annual Tractor Run cannot go ahead this year as planned. The committee of Glynn Community Hall would just like to give a shout out to everyone who supports us year after year and say a big thank you for your much welcomed support towards our hall in the past. Hopefully, we will all get to meet up for another great day in 2021.
CONDOLENCES
Deepest sympathy is extended to Seán Martin and his family/ extended family, on the recent loss of his dear Dad Johnny (Stumps) Martin (Wilton, Bree). You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
