BALLYCANEW/ BALLYOUGHTER COMMUNITY DEVELOMENT
The Development Association are starting a project to document this current year. We feel that this is something that should be documented for future generations. We would love it if you could help. Send us your pictures or drawings or a story of how you coped during the lockdown of 2020. A display of all pictures and articles will be put on display in the community resource center later in the year and we perhaps we could then organise a time capsule for the village.
CLOTHING BANKS
The recycling clothes bank are now back up and running. We have a new clothes collection contract for the banks. If the clothes bank is full please don’t leave bags beside it. The school will make a small profit from the banks.
TEXT ALERT
Please report any suspicious activity to Gorey Garda Station. For our vital system to work it is important that members of the public to report directly to the local garda station to ensure our system works effectively. It is imperative that anything you feel is worth reporting goes directly to 053 9430690 so that it can be sent out on our text alert system. Let’s continue to make our community a safer place.
