The Veteran Players are proceeding with it book of local historic photographs, a challenging task as they are all working

remotely from each other. They want to shout out a big thank you to everyone who has sent material. They are about to commence the task of selecting and editing the pieces for inclusion.

So if anybody still has material they should consider please get it to a member of the committee before the forthcoming October Bank Holiday Weekend. For further information you can contact chairperson Tom Doyle 087 9110055 or secretary Margaret Doyle 087 8380018 or email maggie1980@live.ie. Other members of the committee are Carmel Gibson, Luke Hayden, Jim Treacy, Séamus Whelan, PJ Kavanagh and Enda Smyth.

For those interested in the project, a photo taken in Kildavin NS in 1932 which is described as a junior cycle photo, has been received but no one in the photo has been identified. If anyone thinks they know anyone in the photograph, please get in touch.
