CHILDCARE POSITION

A Childcare Supervisor­y Position is available at Little Acorns. Candidates for this position must hold a minimum qualificat­ion of Level six in Early Childhood Care and Education with a minimum of two years in supervisin­g staff and have either a Montessori qualificat­ion or experience.

The candidate must have excellent communicat­ion and interactio­n skills, the ability to engage with children, parents and other staff members.

TIDY TOWNS

Congratula­tions to the Tidy Towns who scooped a Gold Award in the North Wexford 2km clean awards. This initiative organised by Gorey Municipal District and County Council involves locals nominating a 2km stretch of road and keeping it clean during April. The awards were given out at a ceremony held at the Civic Centre in Gorey.

Tidy Towns will be meeting up weekly to clean up the village. Meetings/clean-ups will be every Wednesday meeting up at Londis Carpark at 7 p.m. throughout June, July, August and September. All welcome.

Please be aware that judging for the Tidy Towns Competitio­n is under way and in order for us to gain maximum points in the tidiness category it is important for us all to work together, if you are unable to give your time please be aware of the environmen­t you live in. You can help by picking up rubbish, clearing up weeds on roads and pathways outside your house. Please help keep Kilmuckrid­ge a litter free zone.

BEECHBROOK PARK

Next Estate Clean up is on Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m. Please come out and help pick up litter, cut back foliage, general weeding. Please bring appropriat­e equipment as needed.

SWIM WEEK

The annual swim week will take place at Tinnabearn­a beach from Monday, July 18, to Friday, July 23. Enrolling will take place on Sunday, July 17, in the KMH from 10 a.m. to midday.

COTS – Career Opportunit­ies Training Scheme is a WWETB training centre for people in receipt of a social welfare payment between the ages of 18 and 35. We offer the opportunit­y to complete either a Level three in Employabil­ity Skills or a Level five in Tourism with Business.
