The annual golf classic took place on Friday, July 8, in Courtown Golf Club, Many thanks to Mick Lyons for his organising of this event. Thanks to all teams and sponsors.
Well done to under-14 hurlers on a competitive game against Blackwater despite the score line B/W 2-08 C/F 1-05. Bann Gaels had a tough encounter against the Harriers and lost out F/H 3-18 B/G 1-10.. Jnr B’s won their match against Kilrush. Intermediates won away to Oulart in their last ACHL game. C/F 3-15 O/B – 09.
Under-8 hurlers played St Pat’s on Saturday, July 2. U 21’s played Ferns and lost by four points. Minor footballers play Starlights on July 6. under-10 Hurlers played the Alley and the footballers are scheduled to play Kilrush on July 8. under-12 footballers played Ferns in football C/F 1-02 Ferns 2-14 on July 5. under-14 footballers play Ferns at home on
A reminder that the Craanford Patron will be held on Sunday, August 7, at 3 p.m.
FIELD DAY
The annual Vintage Rally and field day is on July 17. Helpers are needed. Volunteers may contact Karl Middleton. The next meeting to prepare will be held on Thursday, July 14, at 9 p.m. in the Community Centre. Please join in this community initiative. Ticket sellers are currently calling to homes. Your support is greatly appreciated.

The Craanford-Monaseed Playschool summer camp is on from July 18 to July 22 and August 8 to August 12. €50 per week or €15 per day.
Craanford GPA are hosting a charity Clay Pigeon Shoot – 40 bird sporting over five stands on Sunday, July 24, in aid of Craanford Community Underpass in Dan Byrne’s, Banntown. Event wll be signposted from N11 at Clough and Craanford village. Great cash prizes first, second third and numerous spot prizes.
