-

Goff Agri & Plant Sales, of Bridgetown, has been appointed to represent the Zetor range of tractors by distributors McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill and Rathcoole.

Owned and managed by its founder Damian Goff, Goff Agri & Plant Sales was established in 2013 with the aim of supplying quality new and used machinery and parts to the farming community through Wexford. Today, the company serves a nationwide customer base, offering a wide range of machinery to cater for all agricultural needs and providing a door-to-door delivery service.

Goff Agri & Plant Sales joins the Zetor network at a time when the brand – which this year celebrates its 70th anniversary – has embarked on a major expansion programme, the aim being to recapture its position as one of the top selling tractors on the Irish market.

To that end, the dealership will represent an all-new Zetor range comprising four models variants – the entry-level Major, the stylish mid-range Proxima and Forterra series and the latest high-powered, heavy-duty Crystal. USTOMERS in Ireland can order the Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI quattro now. Deliveries of the new model will commence in July. In purely electric mode, the plug-in hybrid SUV achieves a range of up to 56 kilometres in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), making local journeys emission-free.

The Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI quattro is the first plug-in hybrid in the world to feature a V6 TDI and quattro drive. The SUV sets standards thanks to 373 hp of system power and 700 Nm of system torque.

It accelerates from a standing start to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and consumes only 1.8 litres of diesel in accordance with NEDC. Its lithium-ion battery can be charged from the socket and stores 17.3 kWh. With its electric range of up to 56 kilometres, the SUV covers large areas of everyday mobility.

The starting price in Ireland is €84,475 OTR including all available government grants. 19” e-tron specific alloys, MMI navigation plus with MMI all in touch and the Audi virtual cockpit are among the features included.

The high-resolution TFT screen provides pin-sharp displays and graphics, including special views such as the power-meter, the energy flow of the plug-in hybrid system, the range and the state of charge of the high-voltage battery.

Standard items also include a charging cable for public charging stations and a charging cable that not only features power connections for domestic and industrial sockets, but also a graphic display. Thanks to the new two-phase charging technology, full charging from an industrial socket with an output of 7.2 kW only takes around two and a half hours.

The standard thermal management sys- tem with integrated heat pump has been specially developed for the plug-in hybrids of the Q7 family. Audi is the first manufacturer in the world to market this technology. This represents another benchmark achieved by the brand in terms of electric range, interior comfort and climate control efficiency.

The Audi connect module links the Q7 e-tron quattro to the internet via the high-speed LTE standard. A new standard feature is the ‘Audi connect safety & service’. With the Audi connect e-tron services and the Audi MMI connect app, a smartphone can be used to remotely control the charging process and interior climate control, and to access data relating to previous journeys.

Audi Ireland’s two dedicated e-tron dealers are Audi Cork and Audi North Dublin. The Q7 e-tron is open for order now and first deliveries in Ireland will begin in July.
