ST LEONARDS FIELD DAY

The patron Mass and blessing of the graves will take place in St Leonards Cemetery on Sunday, August 14, at 2 p.m. This will be followed immediately by the field day.

DIP IN THE NIP

The Hope cancer support centre in Enniscorthy is organising a fundraising ‘Dip in the Nip’ which will be held at an undisclosed location on Sunday, August 14. Women are invited to ‘bring your scars and be proud of who you are’. To register telephone 053 9132202 or 087 6804279. Participants will be told the location of the event which is sponsored by Karoo, Button and Spoon, Stable Diet, Kelly’s Hotel, SuperValu and the Natural Health Store.

PATRON AND FIELD DAY

Ballyduff’s annual patron will be held on Sunday, August 14, followed by the field day.

TAGOAT AUCTION

The annual parish auction takes place on Sunday, August 14, in St Mary’s GAA Hall, Tagoat, with lucky dip, raffle and refreshments.

CLONEGAL CAR BOOT SALE

The Clonegal car boot sale will be held in the Ben Mulhall Complex, Clonegal, on Sunday, August 14. Gates will open to the public at 10 a.m. Sellers can set up from 9.30 a.m. Cost of sellers: Cars €10, Trailers and Vans €15. For more information please contact 087 4119149. Admission is free. DANCING IN OYLEGATE

Social Dancing in Oylegate Community Centre, with music by K-Jo Country Band. This is a first visit by this popular band. Dancing is from 9.30 p.m. Admission is €8 with the usual tasty refreshments served. All are welcome.
