NATIONAL SCHOOL

Ballyduff NS will re-open after the summer break on Tuesday, August 30, at 9.20 a.m. We would like to warmly welcome our new junior infants and the boys joining first class. We would also like to wish our past pupils progressing to secondary school the very best of luck on their new start.

MOBILE LIBRARY

The mobile library will not visit Ballyduff again till after the school reopens.

CLONEE LADIES’ FOOTBALL

Split-the-pot continues every Thursday, get your €2 in to have a chance to win. Training on Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. for undereight to -14; under-16 to adult at 7.30 p.m. For anyone who shops in Tesco Gorey, we are currently one of the choices for your Blue Tokens, your vote would be greatly appreciated.

KIDS’ CLUB

Kids’ Club in community centre, Ferns, for primary school children, August 22 to August 26 from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Activities include games, crafts, Bible stories, songs, snacks and lots of fun and it’s free. Contact Johanna for more information and booking. All primary school children welcome.

MONDAY EVENING MEETING

Ballyduff Development Group meets in the school car park on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. to work on our local area. If you can help in any way or have any ideas on how to add interest to our area please come along any evening that the group is gathering. We’re always delighted to see new faces.
