Paddy Casey returns to Gorey for smaller gig
Fresh from his acclaimed gig at this year’s Gorey Market House Festival, Paddy Casey makes a return to Gorey this month to play to a much smaller audience.
The singer-songwriter will play in the intimate surroundings of the Cellar Bar in Katie Daly’s on Friday, September 23. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in Katie Daly’s and are priced at €25 each. Limited tickets available.
Since it opened in 2010, The Cellar Bar has welcomed performers such as The 4 of Us, Mark Geary, David Kitt and Colin Clyne. It has been nominated for several awards including the prestigious Hotpress award for Best Music Venue. Every weekend, music lovers can take in the cool sound of local acts such as Bad Bax, The Mistakes and Tina and the Red Lights with an Acoustic Session in the Main Bar every Monday night.
Proprietors of Katie Daly’s, Boris Ivanoff and Daragh Kelly, said that they are delighted to welcome Paddy Casey after his amazing performance at this year’s Gorey Market House Festival. ‘We are passionate about bringing the best in Irish and international talent to the Cellar Bar and Gorey, so keep watching this space,’ they said.
Paddy Casey has toured Ireland and Europe extensively, supporting the likes of REM, AniDiFranco, Ian Brown and the Pretenders, in addition to his own headline gigs and playing Glastonbury.
