Cross-country fixtures made
Programme starts Sunday
THE MR Oil Athletics Wexford cross-country championships were fixed at a recent Co. Board meeting.
The following list of events includes Leinster and National championships.
The format has changed for a number of these events so please take note of the alterations.
October 2, start 12 noon, Mr Oil Novice and Juvenile even ages. Juveniles start first, and Novices start at 2 p.m. and not before. Venue: JFK Park.
October 16, start 12 noon, Mr OilIntermediate and Juvenile uneven ages.
Juveniles start first, and Intermediates start at 2 p.m. and not before. Venue: Adamstown.
October 29 (Saturday), Leinster Novice and Juvenile even ages.
November 13, Leinster Senior, Junior and Juvenile uneven ages.
November 27, national Senior inter-club and county, and Juvenile even ages. Venue: Abbottstown.
December 11, national Novice and Juvenile uneven ages.
December 18, Mr Oil Senior and Juvenile cross-country relays. Venue: St. Paul’s.
January 15, 2017, Leinster Masters, Intermediate and Juvenile cross-country relays. Venue: Dunboyne.
January 22, national Intermediate and Juvenile inter-club relays.
January 29, Mr Oil Masters and Junior. Venue: Kilmore (provisional).
February 12, National Masters and Juvenile ‘B’.
Some venues have yet to be agreed on but will be announced in due course.
