Cloughbawn sink Forth to move top

Cloughbawn moved to the top of the Division 2A table thanks to a 3-0 win over Forth Celtic on Sunday.

Páidí Cullen, Stephen Mahon and Connal Flood got the goals for the table-toppers.

Killenagh Wanderers dropped points for the first time this season as they were beaten 3-1 by Rosslare Port. Jamie McMahon (two) and Stephen Redmond scored for the winners, with Martin Flynn replying for Killenagh.

Rosslare Strand ran out emphatic 6-1 winners away to Rathnure, with Mark Buckley and Tiarnan Rossiter both netting doubles and Danny O’Reilly and Jake O’Connor getting their other goals.

Duncannon got the better of Fethard in a local derby, winning 4-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Adam Parle and a Keith Donnelly strike, with Joe Sutton and Daniel Mullan replying for Fethard. Division 3

Nicky Sinnott was the star man for Cushinstow­n on Sunday as his five-goal haul catapulted his side to the top of the division.

Sinnott got all of his side’s goals as they won 5-3 away to Ballagh.

Bree United lost top spot as they were beaten 2-1 by New Ross Celtic, with Gary O’Connor and David Moran grabbing the goals for Celtic.

Ballymurn overwhelme­d Ferns United 6-0, with Eoghan Kehoe and Glen Murphy both getting doubles and P.J. Bourke and Shane O’Rourke grabbing one apiece.

Aaron Collier (two), Dion Dunne and Jay Somers got the goals for Bunclody as they saw off Raheen 4-2, while Enniscorth­y United edged out Caim United 2-1, with goals from Billy Millar and Peter Cullen. Division 3A

The Wexford Albion juggernaut shows no signs of slowing down and on Sunday they crushed Campile United 7-0, with Pierce Dooley netting a hat-trick for the second week in succession, Kyle Mann adding a double, and Paul Dempsey and Dion Murphy adding a goal apiece.

Camolin also won 7-0, with Wexford Celtic on the receiving end, with Daryl Murphy and Seán Kehoe getting doubles and Neil Doyle, Peter Nash and Paudge Byrne adding to their tally.

Philip O’Connor (two) and David Brazil got the goals for Rosbercon as they edged out Shelburne 3-2.

Colin Beasley, Richie Hendrick and Patrick Somers got on the scoresheet for Castledock­rell in their 3-1 win over Kilmore, with Philly Murphy replying.

Barry Redmond hit the back of the net for Curracloe but they lost 3-1 to local rivals Bridge Rovers. Division 4

Corach Ramblers joined Gorey Celtic at the top of the table on nine points as they overcame the north county side 3-1 on Sunday.

Stephen Diskin, Conor Anglim and Conor Neville got the goals for Ramblers, with Colm Stafford replying for Celtic.

Rosslare Rangers were much too good for Moyne Rangers, winning 6-0, with Adrian Meyler and Dylan Parle both netting doubles and Mattie Homan and Tye O’Reilly also getting on the scoresheet.

Nathan Trailsbach, Conor Tighe, Niall Molloy and Willie Whitty got the goals for St. Leonards as they beat Enniscorth­y United 4-0.

Jason Murphy scored for Crossabeg in their 1-1 draw with Carne, while All Blacks saw off Wexford Bohs 2-0. Division 4A

Cloughbawn chalked up another win, 3-1 away to Rosslare Port on Sunday, with goals from James Redmond, Kevin Murphy and Pádraig Loughlan.

Brendan McCreary (two), Michael McNulty, Davin Kehoe and Jamie Warren got the goals for St. Joseph’s in their 5-2 win in Boolavogue.

Jamie Cahill grabbed four for Taghmon, with Seán Hayden netting a hat-trick and Stephen O’Keeffe adding their other goal in an 8-2 win over Bree United.

Shamrock Rovers beat Tombrack 5-2, with Tom Kenny and Mikey Clinton netting doubles and Larry Shanahan grabbing their other goal, while Ryan Dwyer (two) and Paul Nolan got the goals for Ajax Athletic in their 3-3 draw with local rivals Enniscorth­y Town. Division 5

Wexford Albion’s second string are following the example set by their first team and they won again at the weekend, beating Caim United 3-0, with Mark Browne bagging a double and Ben Nolan getting their other goal.

Ciarán Doyle and Ian Kennedy got the goals for Cushinstow­n as they drew 2-2 with Castledock­rell, with James Finn replying.

Rob O’Toole and Josh Whitehead got the goals for Ballymurn as they edged out Duncannon 2-1, with Les Walters scoring for the seasiders, while Killenagh won 5-0 in Camolin.

Dean Fortune (two) and Dermot Brennan scored for St. Cormac’s as they drew 3-3 with Stoney Rovers.
