PPN registration is now open
WEXFORD County Council is holding its annual registration for its Public Participation Network.
The Wexford Public Participation Network (PPN) is a grouping of community, voluntary, environmental and social inclusion organisations based in County Wexford.
The purpose of the PPN is: To facilitate and encourage the participation and representation of communities on key decision making bodies; to increase the capacity of communities to contribute positively to the community in which they reside/participate; to provide information and act as a central hub around which information is distributed and received.
Member organisations need to register annually. Registration for 2016/2017 is now available and membership is free. Community groups and volunteer led organisation are encouraged to join the PPN.
Membership benefits include: access to relevant information on funding and grants; opportunity to promote member activities through the network communications; access to information regarding proposals and decisions relevant to your community and opportunity to provide input regarding same access to capacity building and training events which will support your organisations in its work; opportunities to network and learn from other organisations who may be involved in similar types of projects.
