Scór na nOg semis this weekend
NOW THAT all the matches are coming to an end for the year, it’s time for clubs to focus on Scór na nÓg.
Categories in Scór include figure and set dancing, instrumental music, recitation, solo singing, ballad group, léiriú and quiz.
Rules may be found on the G.A.A. website or by contacting any of the Scór committee.
New Ross and Wexford Districts will compete in the semi-final on Friday, November 11, in St. Martin’s G.A.A. club, Piercestown, while Enniscorthy and Gorey District Clubs will feature on the following night, November 12, in Oulart Community Centre.
We ask all clubs to notify their members of the dates and to encourage participation. Registration will take place at 7 p.m. on both nights, with competition beginning at 7.30 p.m.
The final will take place in Clonroche Hall on Saturday, November 19, at 7.30 p.m.
The quiz competition will take place in St. Martin’s on a date to be confirmed. All clubs will be notified of this date.
