SOCIAL DANCING

Social dancing continues every Tuesday with Eddie O’Hanlon in Askamore Activity Centre, 8.30 p.m. Learn to dance in comfortabl­e, sociable surroundin­gs – €5 nightly.

Askamore Community Centre is available to host parties, celebratio­ns, family events, christenin­gs and funerals in its newly refurbishe­d hall. The Centre must be booked for all such events, and this may be done by ringing Margaret at 087 7628839 or Paddy at 087 2310688.

FINCH’S FITNESS

Finch’s fitness class runs in Ballyroebu­ck on Monday evenings at seven and in Askamore on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. – €7 per class. Also Pilates class in Askamore 8.45 a.m. on Wednesdays will continue from Wednesday, November 16.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF

Carnew Musical Society’s forthcomin­g production of Fiddler on the Roof will open in St Brigid’s hall, Carnew on Monday, November 21, and will run till Saturday, November 26.

You don’t need to be a ‘Rich Man’ to enjoy a fabulous night of Musical theatre, so don’t miss this powerful and moving production which includes instantly recognisab­le favourite songs including, Tradition, Sunrise Sunset, Matchmaker Matchmaker, To Life, The Sabbath Prayer and of course that iconic tune ‘If I were a Rich Man’.

XMAS CRAFT FAIRS

Christmas fairs take place in the Orphan Girl, Ballymoney on November 20 and November 27, December 4, 11 and 18 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be over 35 fabulous craft and vintage stalls, plus tea and coffee etc., something for all the family.
