Carnew Day Centre is holding a flower Arranging Night ‘The Magic of Christmas’ with Frances, Betty and Paula on Wednesday, November 23, at 7.30 p.m. admission €7.

This year’s fair will take place on Sunday, December 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Tinahely Community Hall. We have over 30 stalls booked in so you are sure to find lots of lovely gift ideas for Christmas.

The family resource centre are having a bag collection on November 24; we would appreciate if you could donate any clothes or paired shoes.

COLÁISTE AN ÁTHA

The Enrolment Evening for incoming first year students at Coláiste an Átha, Kilmuckrid­ge for September 2017 will take place on Tuesday, November 29, in the school. For your convenienc­e the following times have been allocated for enrolment

4.30 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. – Kilmuckrid­ge, Kilnamanag­h, Boolavogue and Blackwater National Schools; 5.15 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Ballaghkee­n, Oulart, Ballygarre­tt and Monamolin National Schools; 6 p.m. – For enrolments from other than the above schools.

However, should these times not suit please attend at your convenienc­e. If you cannot make the Enrolment Evening please contact the college for an alternativ­e appointmen­t at 053 9130169. Please note that your child must attend with you at enrolment. You will require your child’s PPS number and a copy of your child’s birth cert on the evening.

CHRISTMAS FAIR: Coláíste an Átha are hosting a Christmas Fair in the school gym on Friday evening, November 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Local crafts, businesses and school students will be displaying and selling their produce on the evening and there will be lots of fun events for children and families. Everyone in the local community is very welcome on the night.
