Cloughbawn and North End United share the spoils

Division 2A

Cloughbawn and North End came away with a point apiece after a 2-2 draw in the Division 2A top of the table clash on Sunday.

Darragh O’Connor and Connal Flood hit the back of the net for Cloughbawn, with Dylan Redmond and Jason Leniston replying for the Wexford town side.

Rosslare Strand went on a scoring spree against Rathnure, romping to an 8-0 win with a Danny O’Reilly hat-trick, a Mark Buckley double and goals from Gavin Kinsella, Gary Collins and Steven O’Reilly.

New Ross Town hit Killenagh for six, with strikes from Jack Foran (two), Gary Sinnott, Shane Murray, Dermot Rossiter and an own goal earning them a 6-1 victory.

Duncannon were too good for local rivals Fethard, winning 5-0 thanks to Alex Clarke, Keith Donnelly, Jason O’Grady, Seán Nolan and an own goal.

A single goal was enough for Forth Celtic to pick up the points away to Enniscorth­y Town. Division 3

Bunclody and Bree United are level on points at the top of Division 3 after both recorded victories on Sunday.

Bunclody were much too good for Caim United, winning 4-0 with goals from Jay Somers (two), Dion Dunne and Aaron Collier, while Bree won 4-2 away to Ballymurn thanks to a Noel Roche hat-trick and a Seán Cash goal.

Oylegate and Cushinstow­n shared the spoils after an eightgoal thriller, with Barry Dunne netting a hat-trick for Oylegate, Jamie Reck grabbing their other goal, and Conor O’Neill, Conor Whelan, Nicky Sinnott and Luke O’Connor replying for Cushinstow­n.

Ian Storey and Aaron Kenny got the goals for The Ballagh as they beat New Ross Celtic 2-0, while Raheen and Ferns United drew 1-1. Division 3A

Table-toppers Wexford Albion dropped their first points of the season on Sunday, but it was far from doom and gloom as a last-minute equaliser from Kenny Hunt preserved their unbeaten status after a thrilling 4-4 draw against second-placed Bridge Rovers. Paul Dempsey (penalty), Pierce Dooley and Kyle Mahon got the other goals for the town side.

Jamie St. Ledger helped himself to four goals as Rosbercon United beat Campile United 9-2, with Michael Cullen (two), Barry Ryan, David Brazil and Joey Meggs getting their other goals.

Kilmore United got off the mark at the tenth time of asking by beating Camolin 3-1 with goals from Jeff Kearney, Michael Harvey and Daniel Lambert, while Curracloe United also enjoyed a 3-1 win against Wexford Celtic. Division 4

Crossabeg got back to winning ways on Sunday as they edged out Gorey Celtic 3-2 to regain top spot in Division 4.

Conor Keeling netted a double for the pacesetter­s, with Emmet Fox grabbing their other goal and Jacub Konkel scoring both goals for Celtic.

Rosslare Rangers were the leaders going into the weekend but they suffered a 4-3 reverse against Corach Ramblers, with the winners scoring through Jon Reville (two), Jack Farragher and an own goal.

Wexford Bohs beat Moyne Rangers 4-1 with goals from Alan Flood (two), Jessie Kells and Chris Downes, while doubles from Ger Burke and Fintan Mullins saw Carne F.C. overcome St. Leonards 4-0.

A Mark Doyle brace earned All Blacks a 2-0 win away to bottom side Enniscorth­y United. Division 4A

Leaders Cloughbawn hit Rosslare Port for six on Sunday, with Seán Lambert netting a hattrick in their 6-2 triumph.

Stephen Kennedy, Kevin Murphy and Ricky Blackburn got the other goals for the pacesetter­s.

St. Joseph’s were held to a 1-1 draw by Boolavogue, with Pa O’Brien scoring for the Kilmuckrid­ge side and Fionn Doyle replying.

Ajax Athletic overcame local rivals Enniscorth­y Town 4-1 with goals from Robbie O’Neill, Stan Martin (two) and Seamie Moorehouse.

Taghmon United chalked up a good victory on their travels, winning 5-2 in Bree with goals from Jamie Cahill (two), William Codd, Brian Moorehouse and Jimmy Doran, with Dean Doyle and Conor Rossiter replying for the hosts. Division 5

Ballymurn inflicted the first loss of the season on Wexford Albion on Sunday as they overcame the league leaders 3-0.

Ken King (two) and Josh Whitehead grabbed the goals for the hosts to inject new life into the title race.

Castledock­rell were much too good for Camolin, winning 11-1 with hat-tricks from brothers Murt and Ned Hendrick, a double from Paddy Kavanagh, and goals from Peter Nolan, Kevin Rellis and Killian Ronan.

Duncannon also cruised to a facile success, beating Killenagh 7-0 with goals from Aaron O’Brien, Les Walters, Paddy Byrne, Seán Nolan, Alex Clarke and Ronan Prendergas­t (two).

A Wayne Donnelly penalty was enough for Stoney Rovers to edge out Cushinstow­n, while St. Cormac’s saw off Caim United 5-3.
