Club lotto – There was no winner of the last draw. The numbers were 14, 15, 26 and 27. The next draw will take place tonight Tuesday, November 22, in Askamore Community Centre. The jackpot now stands at €13,900. Annual general meeting – The AGM will take place on Sunday, December 11, at 5 p.m. in the club house Ballyroebuck. Nomination and motions papers must be returned to John Foley Secretary before Sunday, November 27. If you have not received your nomination papers by now please contact John Foley. Santa is visiting the village on Sunday, December 18, at 5 p.m.

VARIETY CONCERT
Ballyoughter National School will be holding a Christmas Variety Concert on December 2 at 7.p.m. in the Sacred Heart Church, Ballyoughter. Performers will include Gthe orey Male Voice Choir, Stephen Murphy, sopraNumbers Caroline Doyle and Laura Carroll, drummer Conor Moore, as well as local school children and local artists.

PARISH ENVELOPE COLLECTION – 29 people returned their envelopes and contributed €248.35. Thanks also to those who are using the Direct Debit means of contributing and to all who contribute to the day to day running of the parish through this collection. Sincere thanks to all who contributed to the annual Craanford Church Flowers Collection taken up last weekend which amounted to €664.

If any adult (children will not be permitted in the Community Hall on the day) would like to lend a hand on the day their help would be very much appreciated. You may help out in the kitchen or on the floor, the choice is completely yours.

Hollyfort Development Group are holding there annual Christmas Carol Service in St John’s Chruch Hollyfort on Saturday, December 3, at 6.30 p.m. featuring Ballythomas NS and Tuaisceart CCE Craanford. Admission: Adults €5, children €2, proceeds to be divided to Ballythomas NS and Tuaisceart CCE. Christmas tree lighting will take place afterwards in Hollyfort with a visit from Santa.
