The human body gives us clues when something is wrong

-

THE human body is amazing; it gives us clues or symptoms to let us know when it needs a little attention. This can be small things. And when they happen every day we may assume that they’re normal for us and we tend to just live with the symptoms. Yet it’s important for you to be aware of these clues so that we can do something about them. That way we can help to keep the body functioning at optimal level. Small changes in diet and lifestyle might be all that is needed.

Here are some clues associated with thyroid problems: You wake up feeling more tired that when you went to bed, you are achy when you wake up, or feel like you have been beaten up during the night. It may hurt to put your feet to the floor. A common sign is an energy slump at 3 in the afternoon.

Here are some signs that are associated with adrenal problems: You wake regularly at 3am. You cannot face eating a breakfast in the morning. If you have no interest or desire to eat food it can be the result of high levels of adrenalin. People who jump out of their skin when someone shouts at them could be in a state of adrenal stress.

Here are some signs associated with blood sugar imbalance: Getting headaches, or are feeling irritable if you miss your meals is a common sign. Frequent thirst or feel the need to urinate often.

These glands are part of the endocrine system. They work together helping to create balance and harmony in our bodies. We need to listen to the clues our body gives us. They are signs that these organs are not happy and need some help.

A healthy balanced diet that keeps your blood sugars balanced is crucial to keeping these organs functioning properly. This means eating regularly, every single day, at the same time, no skipping meals and making sure to have protein with every meal including snacks. Good quality sleep is essential.

Dealing with stress is probably the most important and most difficult thing to deal with. Ways to help can include meditation, relaxation and mindfulness, as well as reading, slow walking, and doing anything that you enjoy.

If you don’t look after yourself, no one else will!
