CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR

Ballygarre­tt Tidy Towns will again hold their Christmas Craft Fair and Market this Sunday, December 4 in Ballygarre­tt Parish Hall. 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join us for a cuppa or a mulled wine, grab a bargain or sit around the open fire listening to the live music.

There is a wide variety of stalls, with home baking, handmade cards, upcycled furniture, hand knits, sweet gifts, flower arrangemen­ts, Christmas holly wreaths, fresh vegetables, gifts made from drift wood, vintage gifts and lots more. Only a limited number of places available so contact 087 9389288 if anyone is interested. We also have a number of places for outside markets for anyone who has their own canopy.

CAMOGIE CLUB AGM

Ballygarre­tt Réalt na Mara Camogie Club are holding their AGM on Monday, December 5, at 8 p.m. in the clubhouse. All welcome. The club has grown rapidly this year so we are asking parents to consider helping out on Committee and with training. Training will resume in February.

BLOTTO RESULTS

There was no winner in last week’s Ballygarre­tt Réalt na Mara GAA Club Blotto draw. The numbers picked were: 5, 6, 28, and 30. The €20 lucky dip winners were: Benny Ireton; Martin Devitt; John Breen; Joe Hughes; Sue Casey. The five free tickets winner was: Helen Casey. This week’s jackpot rose to €8,300.

COLÁISTE AN ÁTHA

The Enrolment Evening for incoming first year students at Coláiste an Átha, Kilmuckrid­ge for September 2017 will take place on Tuesday, November 29, in the school. For your convenienc­e the following times have been allocated for enrolment

4.30 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. – Kilmuckrid­ge, Kilnamanag­h, Boolavogue and Blackwater National Schools; 5.15 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Ballaghkee­n, Oulart, Ballygarre­tt and Monamolin National Schools; 6 p.m. – For enrolments from other than the above schools.

However, should these times not suit please attend at your convenienc­e. If you cannot make the Enrolment Evening please contact the college for an alternativ­e appointmen­t at 053 9130169. Please note that your child must attend with you at enrolment. You will require your child’s PPS number and a copy of your child’s birth cert on the evening.

14 CLUB

Ballygarre­tt 14 Club meet on Thursdays in the hall at 7.30 p.m. for tea, music, song and bingo. New members welcome.

YOUTH CLUB

All new and old members wel- come. Come along and chill out after a hard week at school, great way to catch up with friends, play pool, soccer or just chill out Youth Club is open to all secondary school goers.
