CAMOGIE CLUB NEWS

The camogie club would like to wish all our players and supporters a merry christmas and a very happy new year. We look forward to seeing you all in the field again in 2017.

GAA CLUB NOTES

Lotto: This week’s lotto numbers were 12, 18, 23 and 24. No Winner. Match-three winner Noel Dempsey. Next week’s jackpot €5,200.

Our club AGM will take place on Friday, January 6, at 8.30 p.m. in Ballymurn hall.

BINGO

Bingo continues every Monday night in Ballymurn at 9.30 p.m., Snowball €1,400.

If you haven’t been doing so then it’s time to make a New Year’s resolution. On Bank Holiday weekends the cut off time is Thursday night at 10 p.m.

Co. Wexford Community Workshop, Enniscorth­y will hold its annual Church Gate Collection in Oulart and the Ballagh on Saturday, December 31, and Sunday, January 1. All money collected will stay in the Workshop in Bellefield to be used for the benefit of the clients there. Please give generously.

EUCHARISTI­C MINISTERS

Theresa Sinnott and Marcella Davis will help distribute Holy Communion on Saturday, December 31, and Sunday, January 1. Linda Masterson and Eileen McGrath will be Ministers of the Eucharist on the following weekend (January 7 and 8).

SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY

Oulart Senior Citizens Committee will host the annual Senior Citizens Party on Sunday, January 15, at 2 p.m. People over 65 years are all welcome to attend. Invitation­s will be sent out but,

Crossabeg-Ballymurn Ladies Gaelic Football club once again will present ‘Operation Transforma­tion and Between the Bells’ in 2017. This is a community fitness activity for all members of the family who can get fit together.

The club organised the event this year as a fundraiser to get the community up and active. It proved to be an outstandin­g success and once again the committee will be running it on the same format in January, 2017.

The fit-fun will begin at 7 p.m.

Have You Got an Hour to Spare Weekly? Eucharisti­c Adoration takes place every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Prayer Room in the church.

This is a time of silent reflection and intercesso­ry prayer for personal and parish intentions. We are looking for new members to commit to spending one-hour weekly (at a time of your choice) in prayer and reflection before the Blessed Sacrament.
