Ballycanew Penny Bank commenced on Friday last, January 13. It will run every Friday from Ballycanew National School from 9.10 a.m. All Ballycanew community are welcome to join for the year. There will be a cover charge of €7 to cover costs and cheque fees.

There was no winner of the jackpot on Tuesday, January 10; winning numbers were 1, 8, 10 and 12; five match-three numbers each receive €40: Jamie Furlong, Tommy and Emma, Mervin Power, Aidan and Linda, S & O’Besanson.

Tickets for the Ballyoughter Drama Group production ‘Mother Knows Best’ are selling fast. Don’t forget to get your tickets for the Performances which are taking place on Friday, January 27/Saturday, January 28, or the following weekend Friday and Saturday, February 3 and 4 in Camolin Hall.
