GET FIT GET ACTIVE

Duffry Rovers GAA Club, camogie club and Baile Dubh Tire ladies’ football club are running a number of ‘Get fit Get active’ events over the coming weeks. Registrati­on and optional weighin will take place on Sunday, March 5, at 6 p.m. in Coolree. Circuit fitness and boot camp classes every Tuesday and Thursday night over the eight weeks. Family walks on Sundays (5 kms) at various locations in the community some timed. Use of the walking track in Coolree available to everyone. With some of the finer details still to be finalised we wish to encourage you to take part for a positive healthier lifestyle while supporting your local GAA, football, hurling, camogie and ladies’ football teams. CAMOGIE

Duffry Rovers camogie club are celebratin­g their 40th anniversar­y this year and to mark the occasion the club is holding a dinner dance on Saturday, April 15, in the Riverside Park Hotel at 7.30 p.m. A great night of music and prizes guaranteed so club members want as many people as possible to get their glad rags on and come out and celebrate with them.
