Over the last two months representatives from a wide range of community groups in Camolin have been actively working together with Wexford County Council to prepare ambitious plans for the village of Camolin.

The children from Camolin National School have also embraced the opportunity to design new features for their village through participating in an art competition. Ideas include a new picnic area, walled garden, attractive village planting schemes, a new recreation area by the River Bann, walking track and a notice board for community activities.

A public event is being held in Camolin Parish Hall on Tuesday, April 4, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. We hope as many people in the village will come along to share their views on the proposed ideas for the village. At this event, Wexford County Council will also be announcing the results of the Children’s art competition.

So do come along on Tuesday, April 4, between 6.30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to Camolin Parish Hall. Light refreshments will be served.
