SPRING CLEAN

The annual spring clean will take place in Ballindagg­in on Saturday, April 8, and your support is needed to litter pick along the roadsides of Ballindagg­in. Will meet at the church car park at 9.30 a.m. to collect bags, gloves and litter pickers to begin the clean-up. Alternativ­ely collect equipment at Jordan’s shop and contribute at a time that suits you. All collected litter to be left at ‘The Scales’.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of the late Patrick (Paddy) Flynn, Ballinlug West, Killanne, who died on Wednesday, March 29, To his sister Kitty and extended family, neighbours and friends we extend our deepest sympathy. Paddy’s wife Sylvia pre-deceased him in January 2010. Interment took place in Kiltealy Cemetery on Saturday last following funeral Mass in Kiltealy Church. May he rest in peace.

Congratula­tions to Ballindagg­in Pipe Band on winning the trophy for the best marching band at the St Patrick’s Day parade in Enniscorth­y.
