Ignoring Max’s advice to apply somewhere else, Lauren decides to go ahead as planned.
Meanwhile, Tina receives a helping hand from an unexpected friend.
Tina prepares for Shirley’s return home. She’s touched when she sees Johnny and Whitney’s welcome home banner for Shirley.
Konrad is also on hand with a present for Shirley, but will her homecoming go to plan?
Meanwhile, it’s the day of the sponsored bike ride to raise money for the fayre.
CORONATION STREET
Peter broods over Ken, hurt that he could possibly suspect him of attempted murder. When the doctor tells Ken that he’s ready to discharge him, Ken is clearly worried and admits to Roy that he’s scared to return home. Roy insists he must come and stay with him.
Later, Simon plays Nick and Leanne the panicky voicemail from Peter. Nick is convinced that Peter is Ken’s assailant and when Peter and Toyah call at the Bistro to collect Simon, Nick pulls out Simon’s phone and plays them the incriminating message. Toyah is shocked.
Meanwhile, Daniel lies to Sinead, telling her that he’s going to Oxford for the day in the hope of getting reinstated on the masters course. But Sinead later finds a note from Daniel and is horrified to realise he’s leaving her.
Elsewhere, Nathan suggests Bethany should record a new vlog with Mel, but she’s furious when she comes across a picture of Nathan kissing Mel on Mel’s laptop. Bethany confronts Nathan about his relationship with Mel, but how will he explain himself ?
Also, Eileen is overjoyed when she gets a knock at the door revealing that she’s won an electric car.
EMMERDALE
It’s the day of Aaron’s release from prison and he couldn’t be happier that his prison ordeal is finally over.
Although Robert is excited to have Aaron back, he’s also deeply worried about the Rebecca situation and what might happen next.
Later, Aaron arrives back and is greeted by a surprise welcome home party, but he gets overwhelmed. Things only get worse when Rebecca makes an unwanted appearance and Robert fears that she might tell Aaron everything.

Niamh lies to both Paul and Marcus, but is shocked to discover that Marcus has secrets of his own, while Jake’s impulsiveness allows Cathal to drive a wedge between him and Ama.
Debbie makes a decision about her future, Mondo’s advice to Troy has unintended consequences and Jake attempts to make amends with Ama.
