-

Curracloe United 4, Ballindaggin AFC 1: The home side picked up their sixth Premier Under-10 title in eight years when they overcame closest challengers Ballindaggin 4-1.

Polly Redmond gave the home side the lead but Emily Roban levelled for the visitors just before the break.

However, two more goals from Polly Redmond and one from Zara Corrigan gave Curracloe the three points required to wrap up the title.

League committee member Adrian Kehoe was on hand to present the victorious young side with their trophy. Fastnet Rovers 1, Wexford Youths 2: On Thursday evening, cup finalists Wexford Youths travelled to Fastnet and came away 2-1 winners to move second in the table.

Layla Stafford gave Youths an early lead and they went 2-0 up when Aoife Walsh scored, with Ruth McMahon scoring a consolation for Fastnet late in the game.

Wexford Youths 2, Tombrack United 0: Youths picked up their second win in three days when they overcame one of their closest challengers, Tombrack, with a goal in each half.

Aoife Doran scored early in the first-half and although the visitors battled hard to get back on level terms, Youths defended well and wrapped up the points with a goal from Tina O’Reilly.

All Blacks 2, Ferns United 1: The home side were already champions before this game was played, but they continued their good form as they made it six wins from six games.

Rebecca Cloney and Ava Hendrick scored the all-important goals, with league committee member Aine Murphy on hand to present the home side with their wellearned league trophy. Ellie Kate Larkin scored the goal for Ferns.

Kilmore United 2, Moyne Rangers 1: After a scoreless first-half, Kilmore moved to the top of the table after they overcame Moyne Rangers 2-1 in what is proving to be a very competitive division. Kathlynn Conroy gave the visitors the lead but goals from Erin Godden and Jessica Cloney gave the home side all three points.

Cloughbawn AFC 0, Bunclody AFC 0: Both these sides produced no goals but plenty of excitement as both worked hard to break down the opposition’s defence.

However, it was the defenders who dominated on the day and both sides had to be content with a point after a very entertaining encounter.

Cushinstown AFC 1, New Ross Celtic 1: These two near neighbours played out an exciting draw on Tuesday evening, with Abbie Gaffney on target for Cushinstown while Sinéad Jones scored for New Ross Celtic.

New Ross Celtic 4, Corach Ramblers 0: Celtic played their final game of the season and picked up their first win when overcoming Corach Ramblers 4-0.

Sinéad Jones scored twice with Aaliyah Animashun and Aoibhe Murphy also scoring for the home side.

Aughrim Rangers 1, Cushinstown AFC 2: Cushinstown moved second in the table after they made the long journey to Aughrim and came away with all three points.

Sarah Doyle scored for Rangers, with Abbie Gaffney and Sjoke Finn on target for the visitors.

Rosslare Strand 4, Bree United 1: Strand wrapped up the Division 2B title when they overcame closest challengers Bree United in a game that was much closer than the scoreline suggests.

A Lucia Donohoe hat-trick and a goal from Kayleigh Aylward had Strand in control, and league committee member Aine Murphy presented the new champions with their trophy after the match.
