-

St. Cormac’s 1, Cushinstown AFC 0: Holders St. Cormac’s booked their place in this season’s Gaynor Cup final when they overcame Cushinstown in a tight battle, with only a solitary goal separating the sides at the end.

That goal was scored by Lorraine Fortune, and it was enough to put the Boolavogue girls through to the final where they will be going for a three-in-a-row in this competition.

Ajax Athletic 2, Bridge Rovers 0: Ajax are through to their first final after they overcame Bridge Rovers 2-0 to book a meeting with St. Cormac’s on April 23.

Siobhán Grant-Moorehead was the difference between the sides as she scored both goals for the home team in what was otherwise a very evenly-contested game.

Camolin Celtic v. New Ross Town: Camolin collected all three points which earned them a play-off for runners-up spot when New Ross Town were unable to field for this league match.

Wexford Bohs 2, Shelburne FC 1: Two goals from Hollie Hynes gave Wexford Bohs all three points when they overcame Shelburne 2-1 on Saturday evening.

Shauna Cowman scored for the visitors in a game where both sides produced some excellent passing football.

Tombrack United 2, Fastnet Rovers 0: First against second saw title winners Tombrack round off the season unbeaten with a 2-0 win against a very hard-working Fastnet Rovers side.

Mary Boland gave Tombrack the lead after 17 minutes, but it was two minutes from the end of the game before Leanne Kenny scored to make it 2-0.
