COUNTDOWN TO GOREY AGRICULTURAL SHOW AS NEW ONLINE ENTRY LAUNCHED
GOREY Agricultural Show, with the support of main sponsor Wright Insurance Brokers, has just launched a new website. The show competitions, which continue to grow year on year, will be even easier to enter this year thanks to the new online entry system on the new and improved website.
Now in its 158th year, the Gorey Show will be back in Clonattin on Saturday, June 17. Last year over 10,000 people attended the event with over 1,000 entries across a variety of competition classes including show jumping, pony games, indoor craft competitions and cattle classes.
Participants can now enter online at goreyagriculturalshow.com by selecting the online entry process. The schedule for competitions is also online, and whether you are a competitor or a budding entrepreneur this is your first stop for information.
Alongside the competitions, the vibrant community show offers a fun-filled family day out. Attractions include: pet’s corner; a dog show and agility course; machinery demonstrations; garden centre stands, baking competitions, and lots more.
Wright Insurance Brokers are entering the fourth year as the main sponsor of show and have been a long-standing supporter and committed partner of the show. ‘Our team is counting down the days to the annual Gorey Agricultural Show,’ said Mary French, group marketing manager at Wright Insurance Brokers. ‘As a Wexford business, we are rooted in the community and everyone enjoys the opportunity to catch up with customers and to get to know the locality.’

The Wright team will be located in the main tent in the middle of the show grounds and will host children’s entertainment throughout the afternoon.
This will include face-painting, crafting and balloon sculpting in addition to the hugely popular puppet shows performed by Red Moon Theatre.
