Congratula­tions to all the children, who made their Communion on Saturday last – we hope they and their families had a lovely day.

Night at the dogs – The big fundraiser for the school will take place on Thursday, June 1, in the dog track in Enniscorth­y. A great family night of entertainm­ent is guaranteed on the the night with the students providing entertainm­ent, putting on demonstrat­ions, face painting and even goodie bags for the children on the night.

So get your tickets from any of the parents’ associatio­n members A group of volunteers is needed to visit the houses in the community on May 18 to sell tickets for the night. Tickets are €10 each for Adults and all children under-15 go free.

BOM meeting – board of management meeting for Holy Family school will take place on Tuesday, June 13. at 7.45in the school.

Active week – Active week will take place in the coming week from May 15 to May 19. as part of the Active week the children will take part in the Walking Bus which will leave from the Pub car park in the village and walk to the school at 8.45. Parents and Guardians are encouraged to come along too.

Jep Project – Congratula­tion to all of fourth fifth and sixth class on the success of the Jep Project and their open day which was held in the school on March 31. The pupils proudly presented their fantastic game On the Spot which was a great success A huge thank you to all those who attended and bought the game the first batch of the game was compleatly sold out.

The sales team are currently taking in new orders and payments for the pre ordered games. If you would like to order a game please contact the school office the Game costs €13 and is based on Charades, great fun for all the family and was designed and brought to production marketed and sold by the pupils themselves,
