First lady at last week’s whist was won by Nancy Forde; second lady was tess Enright; third lady was shared by Rosari Gillick, Peg McDonald and Eilish Murphy; half time lady was Eamon Hayes; First gent was George Gilbert; second gent was shared by Pat Doyle and Noel Carter and half time gent was Jack Stanley. Chris Murray won the club lotto last Monday night. Congratula­tions Chris, who wins €6,500. In addition to Chris, there were seven match-three winners. The popular numbers were 7, 11, 21 and 22. The next draw for €2,000 takes place in the Gap on Monday, May 22, Not such good luck for either adult hurling teams who were both beaten on the weekend of May 6.

Most underage teams, boys and girls, have games every week now. They are great entertainm­ent, and support, especially for home games, is always welcome.

Remember to tell coaches in advance if any player will miss a game. Anyone, who would like to get fixtures and results via Whatsapp to their phone, send a text to Kevin at 083 1025352. Otherwise, all are on wexfordgaa. ie/fixtures or results.

A reminder that we are hosting Longford slashers in the camogie feile and Castleblan­ey in the hurling feile over the weekend June 16 to June 18.

Also a reminder to book online for the first Cúl Camp being held in Kilanerin from July 3 to July 8. Late bookings may result in late gear for the camp. The second camp is in August. See Kellogg’sculcamp.ie, go to Wexford then Kilanerin.

Yogalates fitness for beginners are ongoing in Kilanerin Hall at 7 p.m. cost €6 per session. These classes are suitable for all ages and especially improve fitness levels and flexabilit­y. You can also join Bernadette for some light exercise and walking at Ballythoma­s School field on Thursday 9.15 a.m. to 10 a.m. No charge all welcome.
