Winners in the in the Buffers Alley/Wexford Model County Draw were as follows: €400 Seán O’Leary, Clone;€100 Mary Farrell, Cosher; €50 to the following – Tom Walsh, Munbeg, Ballindaggin; Bobby Kenny, Curratubbin and Ciaran Kenny, Ballinasillogue.

Congratulations to our camogie player Sinéad Casey, who won a €2,000 Pettitts Shopping Voucher in the same draw.

CÚL CAMPS

This year the camp for boys and girls in Buffers Alley will take place from July 10 to July 14 and early booking is advisable – online at wexfordgaa.ie. All those who join up before the end of May are guaranteed delivery of gear, etc. in June.

FÉILE NA NGAEL

A warm welcome to our visitors from Naas and Salthill GAA clubs who are participating in the hurling and camogie Féile na nGael hurling and camogie this weekend (June 16 to June 18). We hope they have an enjoyable time in Buffers Alley and the parish of Monamolin and Kilmuckridge.

Buffers Alley will be a hive of activity for the weekend. The boys are competing in Div. One with teams from Naas, Naomh Éanna and Na Fianna (Dublin) while the girls competing in Div. Three are paired with Salthill Knockacarra (Galway), Blackwater and St Vincent’s (Dublin). The games commence at 4 p.m. on Friday the 16th and 10.30 a.m. on Saturday the 17th.

The club will host a social evening for our visitors from Kildare and Galway on the Sat. night in the clubhouse and everyone associated with Buffers Alley in any way are very welcome to come along.

Great memories and friends will be made at the Féile weekend so let’s get behind our teams, mentors and club.
