CCTV SCHEME

A survey is being carried out by the Ballycanew-Ballyought­er Community Developmen­t Associatio­n with regard to the proposed Community Based CCTV Scheme. This survey will be delivered to you over the next few days by our members We appreciate your help.

The Developmen­t Associatio­n have been informed that funding for a Community Based CCTV Scheme is available from the Department of Justice and Equality. We hope to make an informativ­e decision if this would be of benefit to our community.

The Survey should only take 20 minutes to answer, and we appreciate your co-operation. A drop box will also be available on Percival’s. The results of the survey will be collated and reported back to the community.

The winner of split-the-pot which was held on Saturday, June 10, was Ramble gaming syndicate €315. Thank you for your continued support.

ST PATRICK’S GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot; winning numbers were 2, 10, 25 and 27; two matched three numbers to each receive €100: Brendan Byrne c\o Goslins, Lorraine Aodhain and Marie Doyle.

WHIST DRIVE RESULTS

Results of the whist drive held in the hall on Friday night June 9: Gents; first Flo Kavanagh, second Doris Doyle; Ladies first N. Donegan, second Maria Donegan and Mary O’Brien; Ladies Half time Peg Kennedy. Whist drive continues every Friday night in the hall.
