BREE ICA

Bree ICA recently commenced the redevelopment of the Bree ICA commemorative garden. To date, we have created a wheelchair accessible entrance and accessible paths throughout the garden. New raised concrete flower beds to include seating have been built. We were delighted to have received grant funding from Wexford County Council of €2,000 to help cover the cost of wheelchair accessible entrance.

Together with local fundraising by the Bree ICA guild and a generous donation from ICA Central Office and Wexford ICA federation we hope to complete the redesign of the garden by the end of 2017. We acknowledge that the garden may not look at its best at present but with our continued hard work it will be a great asset to the parish of Bree and ICA nationwide when completed.

RECYCLE UNITS

Please do not leave bags or boxes of bottles on the ground in front of the recycling units at the front of the Community Centre if the units are full. They end up becoming a litter problem and also a hazard with broken glass. Please do not bring household refuse or any other type of rubbish up to the units as it will not be taken away. The recycling units are a great benefit for the whole community.

BREE BARNDANCE

Reserve Saturday, August 26, for the annual Barndance in Byrne’s of Bree Grainstore.
