DAVIDSTOWN EUCHARISTI­C MINISTERS: Davidstown is looking for new Eucharisti­c Ministers please contact Fr Nolan.

HOLY HOUR: A Holy Hour with Exposition of Blessed Sacrament will take place in Courtnacud­dy Church on Sunday, July 9, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Holy Hour will take place every second Sunday of each month.

ROSARY: The Fatima Rosary takes place in Davidstown Church on 13 of each month at 3 p.m. Every first Saturday morning there is a rosary hour in Courtnacud­dy church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. In Davidstown the rosary will be said before all masses. All are welcome to come along and take part. VINTAGE DAY

The Courtnacud­dy Vintage Day takes place on Sunday, June 25, at 1.30 p.m. at the parish grounds in Courtnacud­dy. YOUTH CLUB

Unfortunat­ely due to unforeseen circumstan­ces, we are regrettabl­y unable to run with our youth club fundraiser night for the all-Ireland’s ‘let the youth entertain you’ we would like to thank everyone who supported us and bought tickets and anyone who would like a refund of their tickets can contact Anne 087 6230024 or John 087 2807681 or your ticket can be entered into a draw to win one of our spot prizes. However, we are holding a movie night in Courtnacud­dy community centre on June 17. Juniors 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at €3 each, ages five years – 12/13 years and seniors from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at €4 each, ages first yrs up. Open to all family and friends including non – members. We look forward to seeing everyone there. PATRON

The patron takes place in Davidstown on Saturday, August 5, at 6.30 p.m. which will be followed by the Field Evening.

The Junior Entreprene­ur fourth, fifth and sixth classes have created a booklet about Courtnacud­dy. It includes a lot of informatio­n about the locality. PUB TALENT SHOW

There is a pub talent show on Friday, June 30, in the Millennium Bar, Davidstown. Hosted by Bill and Joan Nolan in conjunctio­n with the parents’ associatio­n National School. This should prove to be a great night of entertainm­ent, show casing local talent. Tickets are five euro each and will be on sale shortly from members of the parents’ associatio­n and the School with a great prize of a weekend away up for grabs. All support would be greatly appreciate­d with all proceeds going towards Davidstown National School Funds.
