Following its Irish première in Movies@Gorey, there’s an encore showing of ‘Celtic Soul’ in Movies@ Gorey at 3 p.m.
NATIONAL BIKE WEEK EVENTS
Three events will be held on Sunday, June 18, as part of National Bike Week:
A family cycle, run by Enniscorthy Lions Club, will leave from Kilcannon Garden Centre at 10 a.m. Registration is from 9.45 a.m. Suitable for families, there is a 2km young children’s route and a 7km route for older children. Children must be accompanies by a guardian or parent.
At 10 a.m. Staying Alive for 1.5, in association with Slaney Cycling Club, is facilitating a Wexford Bus 1 Point 5 ride, consisting of three different routes of 30km, 50km and 100km ‘in order to highlighlight the minimum safe distance for passing’. Sign-on at Bunclody AFC, on Church Road, Bunclody, will take place from 8 a.m. with deparure set for 10 a.m. For more information call 086 8114118.
At 2 p.m. Ounvarra Cycling Club will be running a 12km family cycle, departing from Ballycanew, outside Goslins Pub, at 2 p.m. Registration opens at 2 p.m. The pace will be easy and there will be a barbecue at the finish at Goslin’s.
