Official opening of new bedrooms and bar at the Riverside Park Hotel
THERE was a great turnout in the Riverside Park Hotel last Thursday night to celebrate the opening of the new luxury bedrooms at the hotel and the newly refurbished Prom Bar.
Organised by Enniscorthy and District Chamber of Commerce the special Business After Hours event saw a large crowd of chamber members start the evening with refreshments in the Seamus Rafter Suite.
Following on from that owner of the Riverside Park Hotel Colm Neville addressed the crowd before the official opening of the new bedrooms and Prom Bar.
The guests were then taken on a tour of the new facilities where they got to see the new couples deluxe rooms, junior suites and family superior rooms. The evening concluded with a networking opportunity back in the Seamus Rafter Suite.
President of Enniscorthy and District Chamber of Commerce John Burke O’Leary said the event had been a great success.
‘It was a great night and celebrated the opening of the new bedrooms and Prom Bar. I congratulated Colm Neville and the Neville family, manager Jim Maher and the staff for building up the hotel to its current state. They have gone from 60 jobs to over 200 jobs and it is tremendous what they achieved there.
‘It is one of the many jewels in Enniscorthy’s crown. We had a great attendance including our CEO Catriona Murphy who is back in her office.’
