GAA CLUB NOTES

A big thank you to the players, parents, mentors and everyone who helped make the Féile Weekend such an enjoyable time. Our visitors from Longford and Monaghan expressed their thanks and were impressed with the area. As for our teams, well they played the best camogie and hurling of their lives, with the boys winning four games and the girls three, before bowing out of the competition.

Great changes taking place at the clubhouse this month. An investment of 1€60,000 will transform the facilities for everyone.

Team of the week could be shared between the school Rackard camogie team, who got to the county final, and the under-12 club camogie team, with many girls playing on both.
