This year will bring a change to the management and staffing of Ballyduff NS. Ms Patricia Sadlier will be leaving her position as Principal and Teacher to take up Principalship of St Kevin’s School Tara Hill. Patricia has taught the senior classes in Ballyduff for the past 11 years since 2006.

Ms Mary Kelly is retiring as Deputy Principal and teacher. Mary has taught all children who passed through the school for the past 27 years since 1990. Prior to this Mary taught in Cabra, Dublin and Camolin.

On Tuesday, June 27, at 11.15 a.m. all the children can be joined by parents and the wider community to have the opportunity to come together and enjoy a cup of tea to mark the end of an era for our school and bid farewell to Mary and Patricia.

CLONEE LADIES’ FOOTBALL

We extend our sympathies to Deirdre, Linda and the Burke family, and the Brownes, on the passing of Peg (née Browne) a great supporter of our club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

DEVELOPMENT GROUP

We meet from 7 p.m. on Monday evenings to work on this year’s projects and to tidy our village.

We are asking homeowners to continue cleaning the stretch of road 20 meters on both sides of your property as we continue to work to keep our roads litter-free.

LADIES’ CLUB

The Ladies’ Club will not meet again till September. We hope everyone has a lovely summer.
