THANK YOU.

The Parish Committee would like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to all who made last weekend’s field day such a great success. Final figures for the fundraiser have still to be calculated but it looks as if in excess of €10,000 was raised, including €2,250 donated to the cemetery collection and over €4,000 raised on the raffle.

GAA NEWS

On Tuesday, June 20, the under-12s took on Cloughbawn and after a thriller, with both teams very evenly matched, our lad emerged victorious by a single point. They fought hard to get the win and the 3-8 to 2-10 final score gives some idea of how close the game was.

GAA LOTTO

With Mary Murphy of Killabeg winning the big prize, the jackpot in the Monageer-Boolavogue GAA lotto has been reset at €2,000 for the next draw which takes place in the club complex in Monageer tonight, Tuesday, June 27, at 9.30 p.m. Tickets only cost €2 and can be had from all club members and local businesses or bought in the complex immediately before tonight’s draw.
