TOP OF THE CHARTS FOR STACEY

- BY SARA GAHAN

Talented Stacey Breen from Ferns has topped the Country Music Charts again with her new single ‘ Honey I’m Home’, beating Nathan Carter’s Wagon Wheel and also Taylor Swift.

At just 15- years of age, Stacey is going from strenght to strenght and has already achieved four number one hit singles in her musical career – Up, When I Look at You, I Fall to Pieces and Blue, since launching in 2016.

The song ‘ Honey I’m Home’ is one made known by Shania Twain who co- wrote it with Mutt Lange, it is a lively and catchy tune and one that Stacey has been wanting to record since she heard it.

Recorded at Temple Lane Studios in Dublin, Stacey hopes people will enjoy her new song and really appreciates all the love and support she has been given since her launch last year. Since launching her career things have really taken off for the Wexford teenager with, now, five number one hit singles in the Irish Country Music Charts on iTunes.

She has toured around with some of the most well known household names in the country and Irish music industry including Philomena Begley, Ray Lynam, Dominic Kirwan and X- Factor’s star Mary Byrne.

The daughter of Aidan and Deirdre Breen, Stacey lives at home with her parents and her two brothers Declan and Gavin.

Her love for music came from an early age of six and over the last eight years she has been singing on every stage and, of course, goes to professional lessons weekly under the watchful eye of Michelle Donohoe.

Stacey grew up in a musical family but her influences include Adele and country singer Derek Ryan while she also enjoys sport, acting and dancing.
