IN the NWSPCA kennels this week, we have four doggies of different shapes and sizes who would each love a new home to call their own. Our cattery has three playful kittens looking for a new family to be part of. Could you provide a loving home for one of our guests? Our number is 087 6392531.

In the cattery, we have three beautiful kittens looking for new homes this week. Rebel and Ziggy are just 10-week old bundles of black and white fluff and Teddy is a tabby kitten who has a gorgeous temperament and loves cuddles. PLEASE contact us if you would love to add any of these fur babies to your family. All will be vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

In the kennels, Niro is an 18 month old Husky Collie cross, who is looking for home through no fault of his own but due to a change in his owners circumstances. He’s got a great temperament and is a really beautiful fella. He’s initially very shy but once he gets to know somebody is extremely friendly and playful. He really enjoys a good long walk and is well behaved with other dogs. He is vaccinated, neutered and chipped.

JUNE is a very pretty and gentle Saluki cross. She is such a sweet young girl who loves other dogs, is cat workable, and so very, very gentle. June is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and has been treated against kennel cough, worms and fleas. She has also been passported. At 10 months old, she is just 23 inches long, toe to shoulder. Please call us if you would like June to join your family. June would love to be a second dog on your sofa.

Lucy is just one and a half years old and is looking for her forever home. Her family recently moved abroad and, unfortunately, she could not travel with them. Lucy is a Collie Husky cross. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Lucy gets along great with the children in her foster family and their dogs too. WILMA is a sweet young (7 months old) Staffie cross puppy. She is a gentle girl who loves a good cuddle and comes in a small little bundle. She is vaccinated and micro-chipped.

If you can offer any of our guests a loving home please contact us at 087 6392531 or email us on nwspca@hotmail. com. If you are interested in helping the NWSPCA we need volunteer dog walkers, cat carers, shop workers, fosterers and general fundraisers, especially during the busy summer months. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Contact us via Facebook or on the number above.

THE NWSPCA is currently running its Tomcat Tenner campaign. Neuter your tomcat for just €10 thanks to the NWSPCA, DSPCA, and the Veterinary Hospital. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Contact the Society for information.

This service can help greatly reduce the number of unwanted kittens abandoned or surrendered in our shelter. Neutering tomcats also reduces the fighting that occurs between male cats.
