Ron’s intriguing tale will help raise funds for kids’ charity

OULART based author Ron St George Smith released his fourth book ‘Fairy Child’ recently, with half of the proceeds being donated to Barretstown children’s charity.

Fairy Child is an intriguing tale of suspense and a fascinating exploration into the unknown.

When Ken buys some land around Carley’s Bridge, Enniscorthy to build a house he starts to feel very unsettled, as though an unwanted presence is hovering nearby.

Ken asks the locals what might be the cause, only to be told that 70 years ago a five year old girl from the area drowned in suspicious circumstances.

Ken’s wife Nora is pushed to breaking point and wants to take action against the ghost of the young girl by getting the local priest to perform an exorcism.

Fairy Child is €10 to purchase with 50 per cent of the profits being donated to Barretstown charity, who offer free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families living with a serious illness.

Ron started writing in February 2012, followed by the release of his first book in May called ‘The Book Part 1’, which he self-published. After much consideration, Ron decided to re-master his first book and wrote ‘Chantelle’s Tail’, which was published soon after his first book.

Choice Publishing distributed Ron’s third book in 2014 called ‘Stand Alone’, a story about a young man with MS.
